FREBEKA FIVE SUNDAY
JUNE 29
THE
FREBEKA 5 MILE RUN is considered to be Wisconsin’s most
challenging 5 mile course. The Registration center and all
start& finish lines are located at the shelter in Waubedonia
Park which is on Cty. “H” at the West edge of the Village. The 5
mile Run will start at the old 1 mile mark and follow the same
course as previous years. The 1 mile Kids Run, & 2 mile Run &
Walk will now all be held on safe flat trails in Waubedonia Park
& the new village trail through Kraus Park.
The 5 Mile Run will start at 8:00 A.M. The Kid’s
Run and the 2 Mile Walk start at 9:00 A.M.
The 2 Mile Run at 9:30 A.M.
The 5 & 2 mile courses are now USATF (USA Track
and Field certified)

CERTIFICATE # WI-06048-JW
The first 200 participants will receive a
commemorative long sleeve t-shirt.
Entry fees are $13.00 ( $9.00 Kid’s Run ) before
June 28 & $15.00 ( $10.00 Kids Run ) on race day.
All participants can run or walk for free if they
turn in $25.00 in pledges on race day.
All proceeds donated to help Starting Points of
Ozaukee, The T-Baum Foundation,
BOLD ( Blind Outdoor Leisure Development ), and
local Lion Club projects

Fredonia Lions Fall
Chicken BBQ
Our annual Fall Chicken Roast
is scheduled for Sunday October 26 (Packer Bye week) from 10:00
am to 2:00 pm at Fredonia Fireman’s Park on the corner of South
Fredonia Ave and Park Street in Fredonia. All dinners are carry
out with drive through service and no need to leave your car.
Dinners include one half roasted chicken, Mashed Potatoes and
Gravy, vegetable with dinner roll and butter. Each dinner will
include a homemade desert provided by the Fredonia Lioness Lions
Club. Proceeds will go toward local community projects and
scholarships to Ozaukee and Random Lake School Districts. |
