Welcome to the Sussex Lioness website. This website exists to generate interest about our club with an easy to use, informative website. Our goal is to inform anyone not familiar with the Lions about our activities, what drives us to serve our community, and to provide information about becoming a member. |
Who Are the Lions and Lioness?
Lions and Lioness meet the needs of local communities and the world. Our more than 1.3 million members in 205 countries and geographic areas are different in many ways, but we share a core belief – community is what we make it. In line with Lions International, our overriding mission is to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.
Community Calendar of Activities and Fund Raisers
As Lions and Lioness, we support many community programs such as Eye Screening for Children pictured above. Our work also supports a long list of projects in Wisconsin like the Lions camp for handicapped and visually impaired children plus our work in conjunction with Lions worldwide. Please join us and support us with our mission.
